About Us
All of Our "Stuff" and More!
Chris & Sarah
Our Emerald City Adventure really began in 2004 when we founded 2 companies,
“Adventures with Zero and Somebuddy” (A Clown Comedy Duo for parties & special events) and“Adventure Children’s Theatre” (ACT). As Zero and Somebuddy it has been our great privilege to bring joy and laughter to children age 2 to 92 in crowds large and small though out the Puget Sound region. We love entertaining families and groups of families and friends at parties, picnics, festivals, community and corporate events with big silly props (like giant pool noodle tooth brushes) wacky costumes (like our giant strawberry) and zany audience interactive antics ( like the chase). So whether we get together in big fancy auditoriums or in the comfort of your cozy living room we love to spread joy, bring the funny and play with you.
As A.C.T. we began offering after school drama programs in Elementary Schools where we were able to create and produce original stories and new adaptations of classic tales for both small ensemble casts and full scale musical productions for large casts. Thanks to the amazing trust and support of our many wonderful patrons and friends we have been blessed with the opportunity and freedom to play in a wide variety of theatrical styles and genre; from Musicals and Melodrama, to Mysteries, comedies and Romance, from Fairy Tales and Tales of Middle Earth to the Time Traveling and Interstellar exploits of Science Fiction!
Our adventures continued when we opened our own studio in The Bothell Country Village (sadly the Village closed in 2019) Thanks to the “Village” we were able to create our own wacky two person adaptations of some of our favorite stories, like A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh & Piglet tale of “The Woozle Hunt”, and perform them for the first time. We were also given many, many incredible opportunities to participate in and even create free fun filled family friendly open to the public events. Events like “Fun with Frosty”; which we are happy to report now live on at other venues!
It has truly been a delightful adventure spending the last 16 years writing, composing, teaching, directing, producing and performing theatre for and with children of all ages in the greater Seattle area, an Adventure, God willing, we hope to continue for many years to come!

About Sarah
Sarah Seigneuret is a native of Vancouver B.C. where she graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. She started in children’s theatre in 1990 at “Theatre La Seizieme” performing on roller skates and acting & stage managing in French. She also worked for Vancouver Theatresports, Vancouver Children’s Festival and Vancouver Comedy Festival. Since starting their companies 16 years ago Sarah has always worn many hats (literally & figuratively)! Directing, writing, acting, booking, creating props & costumes to name a few! She absolutely loves to perform and create shows for children, to spread joy and be silly! For Sarah the sound of kids laughing is the best sound in the world!!!
